Open-letter 'Europe needs more Farmers' for the international Day of Peasant Struggles
17 April is the International Day of Peasant Struggles. A day where we want to remind Europe about the importance of peasant agriculture.
Without numerous farmers in the countryside and small and medium scale farms, the agroecological transition will not be possible. This is why we unite our voice with more than 60 other organizations in this open letter launched by the European Coordination Via Campesina to call on our decision-makers to put in place urgent and ambitious measures to honor the profession of those who feed us.
