Paola Migliorini, President of Agroecology Europe, was invited as Keynote speaker at Agri-Innovation Summit 2019 “The EIP-AGRI leading the transition to agroecology” in Lisieux, FRANCE – on 25-26 June 2019, to give conclusive remarks and comment on the discussion and results of the nine workshops.
The uptake of agroecological approaches in EU farming is key to improve productivity, resilience and sustainability.
The AIS 2019 brought together over 480 participants from all over Europe: farmers, researchers, advisers, businesses, associations, decision-makers.
The European Innovation Partnership for agricultural productivity and sustainability (EIP-AGRI) is a key tool for supporting interactive innovation in the sector. The Common Agricultural Policy has financed more than 1200 EIP-AGRI Operational Groups throughout the EU.
